Palm Beach County business owners are invited to attend a one-hour seminar on business contracts to be held at the offices of Ciklin Lubitz & O’Connell (http://www.ciklinlubitz.com) in West Palm Beach on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Business owners are constantly faced with the need to sign detailed contracts, including purchase orders, commercial leases, equipment leases, service contracts, partnership agreements, non-compete agreements, vendor agreements, and vehicle lease agreements. Business attorney Jeffrey Garber will provide attendees with key pointers on what to look for in a contract in order to protect their business interests.

Since Florida law generally provides that parties to a contract are charged with knowledge of all agreements that they sign (regardless of whether or not they actually understand the contract provisions), it is important to have some basic knowledge of business contract law.

It is also imperative to have an understanding of detrimental contract provisions which should be avoided when signing a contact, as well as crucial terms that a business owner should insist are included in any contract.

This one hour seminar is designed to help business owners negotiate contracts with a better understanding of how to protect their legal rights. The seminar will start at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26th, and will include a question-and-answer session. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
