SC&H Group Adds Pete Ragone as a Principal in the Firms Audit and Tax Services Practice

SC&H Group, a leading audit, tax, and consulting firm, announced that Pete Ragone, CPA, has joined the firm as a Principal in the Audit and Tax Services practice.
With more than 25 years of audit and accounting experience, Ragone specializes in leading financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for domestic and international organizations. He will also bring this expertise to the firm’s growing base of tax and audit clients.

In addition, he has deep expertise in cost accounting, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit compliance, incurred costs submissions, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards, foreign currency translation accounting, fair value accounting, complex revenue recognition issues, accounting for income tax provisions, accounting for share-based compensation and accounting for business combinations.
Prior to joining SC&H Group, he served in audit management roles for a “Big 4” firm and several regional accounting firms. His experience includes supervising and training audit staff, coordinating preparation of tax returns, and assisting clients in accounting software selection and implementation.
Ragone’s clients have included SBA small business and 8a program participants and middle- and large-market clients from various industries: government contracting, manufacturing, construction, technology, property management, healthcare, and not-for-profit.
He has also authored many position papers on accounting issues, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Ragone holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University (JMU).
